02 May Exciting news from our Athens pilot
We start the last semester of the project with very good news from our pilot in Athens. The works are progressing in line with the proposed planning, even if unexpected snow and heavy rain have been affecting the construction site during the last months.
All the preparatory and foundation works have been concluded and currently the ProGETonE exoskeleton is being installed all around the pilot building.
The ProGETonE exoskeleton stiffens the building from outside and forms a strong structure outside of the existing in order to stabilize it and to take horizontal forces, reducing the displacement of the structural elements and so increasing the seismic resistance of the building.
Initial step has been the installation of the floor and wall bracket points, where the exoskeleton will be supported. You have also a nice video from our construction site drone, in our Youtube channel: https://youtu.be/lx7QT0kLdX0 .
Next weeks will be very exciting all around our ProGETonE pilot. Stay tuned, we will keep you updated!!
